Afterward, he pursued his interest in Endocrinology & Metabolism at Weill Cornell Medicine by studying the molecular actions of Thyroid Hormone as a Research Technician. Hanix joined the Shah lab in 2023 as a medical student. His current work focuses on understanding the tumor environment and the role of immune cell spatial distribution in esophageal adenocarcinoma. When he is not in the lab, Hanix enjoys fitness, music, cooking, and learning French.
